1. Hairspray
2. Tease. You can back comb, or just scrub it with your hand.
3. Repeat 1 and 2 as many times as needed, until you have kind of a ‘carpet’ of matted hair, then pull it up a bit with your fingers. It helps to have hair that’s a little damaged from dying or bleaching. Use dry shampoo or a little baby powder if your hair is on the greasy side, that helps too. You might also want to flat iron it first, or crimp it if youre feeling extra bad ass.
